When I was in my 20’s I got to see an amazing Degenerate Art show at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and was blown away. I grew up learning about the Holocaust and the horrors of Nazi Germany but seeing it from a different perspective, from art being banned and destroyed because it went against what the regime deemed acceptable was outside of my understanding. I know that people will dislike certain artwork, even abhor it, but wanting to destroy it, so no one else could experience it is wild. Currently the New Orleans World War II Museum is showing degenerate work through May 10th. Check out this article .
