Call for Art
In celebration of CAPSLO’s mission to support individuals and families on their path to self-sufficiency, The Bunker invites artists of all ages and backgrounds to submit work inspired by themes of community and resilience. The exhibition will take place in July of 2026.
This exhibition centers on connection at every scale - from the systems meant to support us, to the small, human gestures that anchor us to one another and sustain community. Artists are invited to explore these themes of resilience, community building, and seeking belonging through the lens of community action. Through personal narrative or shared experience, we invite you to consider the power of connection, support, and perseverance in a changing world.
Artists of all media are encouraged to submit work inspired by the following prompts:
● How do we build and sustain communities through challenging social and economic times?
● What makes a space feel like home even when it’s temporary or unconventional?
● How do small gestures strengthen our ability to hold one another through difficulty and build truly resilient communities?
● Where do you find moments of hope, resilience, or beauty within hardship?
