As a woman nearing my fifties, I’ve often experienced a profound sense of exposure—sometimes by choice, and other times in ways I never asked for. I’ve found myself revealed, uncovered, or placed in full view, both emotionally and personally.

This collection of images explores that layered idea of exposure, drawing on its dual meaning: the technical process of photographic film and the more vulnerable state of being seen, examined, or laid bare. Through these images, I reflect on the moments where exposure has shaped my experience as a woman—both the empowering ones and the ones that left me feeling exposed.
