It’s A Shirt Show - Call for Art
The Bunker SLO in partnership with Androgynous Fox is proud to open a call for apparel design for our first “It’s A Shirt Show” opening November 2026
“It’s A Shirt Show” is our first ever apparel show that will be featured in our new mini gallery during the month of November 2026. The premise of this show is to allow artists of all kinds to create a 1 or 2 color design for a standard t-shirt with a single impression area. If the artist's design is chosen for the show it will be printed based on orders throughout the month and ready in time for the holidays. The artist that designs the shirt that gets the most orders will win a stipend of $250 plus all artists will receive a percentage of every shirt sold with their design on it.
Artwork must be submitted in a format usable for turning into a silk screen (.eps or .ai file preferred) with a diagram of where it is to be placed on the apparel. The Bunker SLO will provide a shirt template for use and can work to help artists get their designs ready for print.
GUIDELINES
Art must be original.
Artists may submit up to three (3) works.
Original artwork must fit within the spec area provided by The Bunker SLO and Androgynous Fox.
Final artwork must be submitted in a usable file to create a screen for printing.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
There are no entry fees to apply.
Submit an application at the link at the bottom of this page
Please title each file name with the artist’s first name, last name, and title of work, separated with an underscore.
Example: Joan_Smith_happyday.jpg
SALES
All sales will be done through the Bunker SLO website. Artist’s will earn commission on all of the apparel sold with their design on it.
The artist with the most sales will win a prize of $250.
SUBMISSIONS
Artwork must be submitted by October 15, 2026
Artists my submit up to 3 concepts
Artwork must comply with our specs for screen printing.
This is a juried show and not all submissions will be selected.
Exhibition Date: November 6, 2026
Submission Deadline: October 2, 2026
Completed Work Due: October 30, 2026
