This painting represents a turning point in my life. I spent the majority of my life weakened by anxiety and low self-esteem, unable to take charge of my life. After working up the courage to leave an unhappy relationship last year, I finally realized that everything I’ve ever wanted to be is within me. Because of all the storms I’ve endured, the garden within me is blooming. April showers bring May flowers after all.
