I am a retired pediatrician finding a second life as a maker, fabric artist and printmaker residing in Los Osos. I have exhibited art quilts at the Seven Sisters Quilting Show and have made a number of large fabric wall hangings for friends and family. I am a member of the Central Coast Printmakers and enjoy bringing a variety of techniques to fabric, including painting, dying and printing.

Much of our personal, self-inflicted suffering comes at the hand of our ego, forever comparing, judging, and measuring. Meditation or hallucinogenic experience quiets our ego, revealing our oneness with all beings and the universe. This revelation can be healing and transformative. Our ego protects and separates us from the outside world and others, but when we are able to loosen the bonds of our individual identities and merge with the universe, if only for moments, it can brings intense relief in the knowledge that we are all part of the puzzle. All of us are necessary and all of us carry meaning.
